The latest issue

A very warm welcome to you! After 2 years being purely digital due to the pandemic we are overjoyed to finally be in print.

Metroland Magazine is written by the community for the community with our own unique design. Covering life in Chesham, Amersham and Chalfont bringing you the best places to dine, days out, high street businesses, charities and projects.

We very much hope you will embrace our new printed magazine, but you can also read digitally as before. We are printing on uncoated paper so once finished you can pass on to a friend or family member, pop into your recycling or keep as a treasured coffee table addition. Do please join our socials as this is where we run competitions, who doesn’t love one of those!

In case you are wondering who we are; I am Tina the Editor and have lived in Chesham and latterly Amersham for over 50 years. I have been part of Chesham Carnival, was one of the first ToyBank elves and spent 3 years as Commercial Director of Chesham United FC. I love to walk through our woodlands, love to dine in our fab eateries and am partial to a gin or decent red. I have two grown up children and am now a grandmother of two (I also spend a lot of time wondering where the years have gone). My passion is local and all it embraces. I am on a mission to boost our high streets and economy, be as sustainable as possible and encourage all businesses to be as accessible as possible!

Kathryn is our amazing designer and website curator. She is a very hard-working mother of two gorgeous kiddies and is equally passionate about Metroland and all it embraces. A formidable published photographer and collector of awesome shoes! She is also mad about musicals and theatre; and we often enjoy a day out sampling fine food and taking in a show.

We both wish you a very happy Easter and hope you enjoy our inaugural print issue of Metroland!
