Mothering Sunday with Atul Kochhar Restaurants in Buckinghamshire

All four of chef Atul Kochhar’s restaurants in Buckinghamshire will offer extra special Mother’s Day menus this year. Offering unrivalled options for Mother’s Day in Buckinghamshire, lunch or early dinner will be a perfect treat for Mum, to show her how much you care.

Chef Atul Kochhar said, “Mother’s Day is another very important day for the hospitality industry and we’re always doing our best to offer something which will make mums feel special while bringing the family together for a delicious meal.”

Riwaz in Beaconsfield

Promising a Mother’s Day to remember, Riwaz will serve a three-course set menu from 12– 7pm, priced at £38 per-person. Choose from dishes such as chicken shami with spinach raita; lamb seekh kebab with rosemary and chilli mayo; mussels simmered in Malabar sauce; slow cooked lamb leg with onion kulcha; and rose scented rice pudding to finish.

Some additional nibbles and breads will be available to accompany, while all Mums will also receive a free Riwaz Signature cocktail to enjoy alongside. 

Vaasu in Marlow

In the heart of the Georgian town of Marlow, Vaasu will serve a three-course set menu from 12 – 7pm, priced at £39 per-person. Tuck into sumptuous dishes such as tandoori tofu chat with tamarind and mint chutney; ghee roasted lamb rack with masala khichdi and roast potatoes; tiger prawn curry with coconut and kokum sauce; and spiced molten chocolate cake to finish.

Some additional nibbles and breads will be available to accompany and all mains will be served with black dal and jeera pulao.

Hawkyns in Amersham

In Amersham, Hawkyns will also offer a Mother’s Day menu for lunch or early dinner, available from 12-7pm. Priced at £39 per-person, the menu will feature three courses, with a broad selection of dishes for each. Choose from the likes of Delhi-style chicken tikka with passion-apple salad; tandoori king prawns with shaved onion salad and mint chutney; pan-seared prawn, sea bass, mussels and scallops with vermicelli pulao and a coconut tamarind sauce; or grilled lamb chop with chickpeas, kale and spiced gravy. To finish, dessert options include the likes of raspberry bhapa doi with blackcurrant sorbet; mango kulfi with basil seeds and berry coulis; or an indulgent chocolate bombe with rich hot chocolate sauce.

Sindhu in Marlow

At The Compleat Angler in Marlow, Sindhu will serve a special Mother’s Day lunch and early diner, comprising three courses for £42 per-person. Available from 12-7pm, guests will be able to tuck into a choice from dishes such as crispy fried prawn masala with green apple chutney and tamarind reduction; pan-roasted halibut with coconut moilee sauce and mixed vegetable masala; Mangalorean-style chicken curry with roast potato; or vegetable-stuffed pepper steak with pulusu sauce and broccoli poriyal. All mains will also be served with lentil and vegetable sambhar and steamed basmati rice, while additional nibbles such as aloo and pea samosa, fish pakora and a selection of breads are available to order.

To finish, a trio of desserts will be available to choose from, including vanilla cheesecake with rose petal compote; rice milk and kheer with pine nut praline; and a duo of kulfi flavoured with pistachio and mango.
